Grab Thai Kitchen Street, is a
small restaurant, located just minutes from Old Street Station. The concept developed is a
simple interior for small restaurant.
Manandjoy in cooperation in
lifeform design, create streets image to serve Thai food, appropriate in what is wanted by the owner, return eating real Thai food, in a more simple, and certainly in a more affordable price. Grab principled to enjoy Thai food, do not have to be expensive in those places. Grab hoping to reach a wider market than it already is for this, and also to better introduce the culture of dining a la Thailand.
In translating the concept, so
minimalist design, be the first choice, by incorporating elements of urban street scenes, using building materials and furniture referring to
restaurant interior is clean and minimalist. For that, selected road construction materials, such as corrugated tin to coat the walls of the restaurant. As for the seat for the visitors, using a red plastic bench, that surrounded long wooden table. At the back table, mounted menu board that displays a list of Thai-style street food dish, made from wood pallets. Use of unfinished furniture, or road construction materials, it seems the current fads, and fairly popular among the designers.
For lighting, use regular light bulb, in red and blue wires, that deliberately left hanging, to give the characteristics of the restaurant interior, that describes the urban street vending image in Thailand. Overall restaurant design, with simple interior, making the atmosphere was relaxed, and warm. Expected visitors can re-find dining a real Thai food.
