BOOKSTORE CAFE DESIGN IDEAS

The basic idea of bookstore cafe, started from a desire to make visitors feel at home inside the museum. This cafe, located downstairs "Museum Sztuki" in Lodz, Poland. This museum, originally a palace built in the 19th century, with decor that will be full of artistic and historical value at that time.

Image formed during this, the museum is a boring place, often visitors feel at ease in it. This is a challenge, to make visitors feel happy, and comfortable. For that then appeared an idea to incorporate the concept of museums as places that have historical value, with the cafe ideas as the scope of social ideas, to attract visitors to spend longer time in the museum, without the to feel bored.

Modern contemporary theme, the choices made to create a pleasant cafe design no having to leave the function of museums. In order to maintain beauty interior of the Palace to be defended, it used simple materials such as plywood, metal, and glass as the main element of interior room. Overall this design, resulting in interior design contradictory and beautifully.

The main features are selected to complement the cafe is a bar counter made from wood, designed with a shape resembling a plane triangle given the decoration of the back-lit plexiglass panels. Other furniture that looks the room is a bookshelf, with books neatly arranged inside.

This cafe provides two types of seating areas for visitors who come. The most unique is the seating area with a box in which there are two sofas facing one another, that gives privacy to visitors. An ideal design incorporation of several interior concepts.
